- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I begrudgingly drove to the Georgia Department of Driver's Services location on Newton Road in Albany expecting the usual unnecessary wait, and rude clerk demanding more documentation. I was thoroughly surprised! I stood in line all of 20 seconds. Filled out the appropriate forms, and sat down for the lifelong wait. No sooner had I sat down than my ticket number was called. I was assisted with the utmost courtesy. All of my questions were answered. The clerk went above and beyond in extending customer service. Unfortunately I did not get her name. I wish I had, because she deserves credit. I walked out no more than 10 minutes after arriving. I had specifically planned a long evening at the DDS, now I'm deciding on what to do with all the remaining free time.
